Emerging from the depths of the underground scene, Mantis quickly became established within the
drum and bass world after first stepping behind the decks in 2018. Over the years, she has supported
and played alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, including Alix Perez, Kasra,
Monrroe, The Upbeats, Particle, Black Sun Empire, State of Mind, Optimus Gryme, Pendulum,
Monty, Truth and Visages among many others.
Mantis has hit the stage at major events and festivals across the country, such as Northern Bass, Bay
Dreams, Mardi Gras, Rolling Meadows and baseline as well as numerous underground outdoor
events across the South Island. Her sets are known for their deep, dark and grimy style, supported
by skilful mixing, seamless blends and strong tune selection.
Recently she has expanded her musical horizons by creating her own tracks and exploring new
sounds within dubstep and halftime. With a passion for the deeper, darker side of bass music, she’s
excited to bring fresh and ground breaking sounds to each of her sets.
